About Shakira

Hamzah K.Mohamed founded the company in 1995 under the name The Meat House Pte Ltd, running a dour retail stall outlet at Tampines Mart wet market.

He has been active in the supply of chilled mutton, beef & chicken to some wet markets, restaurants and caterers.

Shakira is the No.1 supplier for Korban live sheep and cattle to mosques, madrasahs and Muslim organisations.

In 2008 we changed the company name to Shakira’s Butchery and Wedding Services. Introduced the catering business and active in wedding packages inclusive of dais, DJ, catering and bridal, and high tea.

We have expanded to having our very own central kitchen and are popular for our authentic Dam Briyani, going with the slogan Shakira’s – Ini Barulah Dam Briyani!

You can get our Dam Briyanis in weddings, catering of events & special functions.

The company is now known as Shakira’s Pte Ltd. We are currently the only supplier doing Aqiqah on weekly basis where the animal slaughter is in Australia and air flown back to Singapore. We also do Korban, Nazar in Semarang (Indonesia) Pondok Pesantran Miftahul Huda daily where the meat will be cooked and distributed to the needy there.
